Mrs. Appell's Third Grade Class

 Hello Everyone!  My name is Heather Appell, and I will be your child's third grade teacher.  I feel it's important to know a little bit about the person who will be sending so much time with your student, and that is the reason I created this page.  

I am a 41-year-old wife and mother of three wonderful children, Kenzie 17, Kelsey 14, and Robbie 10.  I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but moved to Florida when I was about 13 years old.  I've been here evern since.  I graduated from Clearwater High School and went on to St. Petersburg College where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in elementary education.  

My family and I are big foodies.  We love to cook and entertain.  Luckily, my husband is an amazing chef.  We enjoy going out to dinner as a family on the weekends and trying new places all over the Tampa Bay area.  One of my goals is to travel  more.  I still have several places I have not visited that are on my list of places to go.  However, my favorite place by far is New York City.  Nothing can beat New York during the holidays.  

I look forward to getting to know all of you during this school year.
